As a premium manufacturer, Revox designs its products in-house and manufactures them at the Revox manufactory in Villingen, Germany. In-house development — including the electronics and software — is what gives us the decisive technological edge.

The exacting standards set in development are carried through into production at the Revox manufactory. Here, products are hand-assembled, meticulously tested on custom-developed test stations, and put through an elaborate, multi-stage quality check before they are shipped.

The manufacturing process behind our tape media — both in reel-to-reel tape and in our own cassette production — is built on years of expertise and utmost precision.
