The renowned specialist magazine STEREO has tested our new B77 MK III Stereo Tape Recorder - Alice Cooper Limited Edition in their editorial offices and their own measurement laboratory.

"However, the absolute sensation of this issue is the unveiling of the new Revox B77 MK III. This Limited Edition not only impresses with its extraordinary design but also with its unparalleled sound fidelity. Whether for collectors or those seeking the best sound, the B77 MK III is a must-have." (STEREO 06/2025)

The editor responsible for the article, Matthias Böde, is a recognized audio and analog audio expert.
Therefore, his judgment is very well-founded. And it was VERY GOOD!

In the current issue, which coincides with HIGH END 2025, the 7-page test report has now been published, and the B77 MK III is prominently featured on the cover.

Excerpts from STEREO 06/2025:

An entirely new B77

What could have been dismissed as a more or less extravagant action to revive a tape recorder myth, in light of current events, appears to be the overture or test run for a much larger project, which, given the myriad digital recording and playback media, seems to have fallen out of time: a comprehensively newly developed B77 MK III.

The B77 MK III in the lab
Revox's new machine delivered very good performance in terms of measurements.

"For sound, too, 'no limits' applies."

Munyungo Jackson's immensely nuanced "Columbiana," captured by David Manley's Vital label with tube equipment in a complex yet transparent manner, also benefited. The Revox precisely captured and outlined the situation, including the peculiar acoustics of the wood-paneled hall where the inspiring recording once took place. A special listening experience!"
