The Revox Difference
Milestones

1948
Industrial Founding Era
Willi Studer, ingenious inventor and founding father of the global company Studer|Revox, opens his company "Willi Studer, Factory for Electronic Apparatus" in Herisau, Switzerland. In addition to developing high-voltage oscillographs, the young company soon turns its attention to developing tape recorders, which are initially sold under the name Dynavox.

1951
T26 - The first Revox tape recorder

1952
Studer A27 - Professional Studio Technology
Willi Studer introduces his first professional studio tape recorder, the Studer A27. At the same time, two product lines and brand names are established: The name Studer henceforth stands for the professional studio sector, while Revox develops into a premium brand for private music lovers.

who produced their records with our equipment.
