Connection and combination with STUDIOMASTER M500 and M300
The CD100 is connected to the M500 or M300 with two cable connections. A coaxial connection for transmitting the digital audio signal and a data connection for control and interaction.
The new Revox Control Port CD-Player connection cable included in the scope of delivery ensures Plug and Play and is simply connected to the USB port of the M500 or M300 as well as to the control input of the CD player (RS232 Control).
Configuration is fully automatic.

Automatic Setup CD100

The coaxial input is renamed to CD Player in the system, the symbol in the display is changed, and all necessary settings are made in the configurator. The user can immediately control and select the music titles they want to listen to. The CD100 switches on automatically when selected via the control unit, the CD is read, and the content is displayed in the app. A track can be selected, and the playback time updates and is displayed in the app and on the front of the M500/M300. The current status of CD usage is also displayed in the app and on the front display of the M300/M500, e.g., "Reading," "Play," "Pause," "Stop," "No CD," "Read Error," etc. When switching to another source from the M500 or M300, the CD100 automatically switches off.

Connection CD100

If the coax input is already occupied by another device, another input, e.g. the optical or analog input, can be selected in the configurator for connecting theSTUDIOMASTER CD100. To do this, the automatic settings in the configurator must be changed. This configuration is not saved in the system. If the Control Port CD-Player connection cable is disconnected and reconnected, the auto-configuration that is normally provided will take place. (Further application: The CD100 is backward compatible and can also be fully connected and used with Revox Joy S119 or S120 MKII Network Receiver via the CD-Link interface.)
